I need help with the Huck Finn stuff. Not sure if this is the correct way to get my questions answered, but here goes! My son is a member (joined Oct 2010). He would like to race at Mt Holly, MI on Jan 16. I think I put him in the wrong class. He is 13 years old. And will being doing snowboard down hill racing. What do we need to do on the day of the race? Please help me out if you can. This is all very new, but my son likes to race.
Jennifer-
I just e-mailed you!
We have a 1 time “free membership” for USASA the entry fee will apply
$20 per event.
Thanks
Inquiring about Mt. Holly Huck Finn too. My son is a skier and loves to ski the supercross course up north. There are no rails, etc to go off of, just a downhill course where they can get some air off of the dips on the hills while going through thecourse. Is this what slopeside competiton is?
Boardercross and Skiercross have no rails, just a Banked slalom course that they race with 3 other racers, the first one across the finish wins- there is a series of three heats where they race each other, in some cases we have Semi’s where the competitors have to qualify for the finals:
Slopestyle is a Jump and Rails course, at Mt.Holly we will have three features wide (jumps or Rails) from the top to the bottom of the course, which I believe is 4 sections worth, for a total of 12 Options. GREAT COURSE!
See you there!
Hi, I want to start competing this year but i am gettin a late start. I was just wondering about the 1 time free membership thing. how or where do I turn it in and is it basically good for one competition?
Thanks
Chadd

Please see me at any Huck Finn event (Ask for Greg Flowers) and I can go over our program
